I went on a photo shoot with my good friend Jamie-James Medina who was shooting Rock and Roll pioneer Jerry Lee Lewis. When Jamie-James asked me if I had any ideas for a shoot with a legend in another hotel room, I suggested that since Jerry Lee has been traveling out of a suitcase for most of his adult life that a good prop might be my vintage piano-in-a-suitcase that I have been tinkering around on for a few years. He used it and the shoot came out amazingly. (to see the rest of Jamie-James’ one year project on American music legends click here http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/series/american-legends. It is quite an impressive feat considering that he produced each shoot himself and dispite having little geographic knowledge of the United States (being an Englishman and all) he successfully traversed the US by himself to get the project accomplished. And Video to boot.

This is a fine example of growing old with grace. No plastic surgery here. The shot of him delivering luggage to your room is great because that’s what he does for a living at a motel 6. It’s shockingly Great Balls of FIre is not a gay anthem.
